The things that I am afraid really happen. I was frustrated but I don’t have any other choice. I lost all my articles written since 2005 – the year when I started blogging. It happened so fast that I couldn’t believe I did it.
Last week, WordPress notify me about an update. I didn’t bother about it as I was busy preparing for the final exam. After my examination, I decided to update WordPress without backing my data. After the update, I got a critical error. I tried everything but I was not able to fix it. I decided to reinstall WordPress but still, the error is there. My frustration is becoming intense and I deleted my website accidentally. I lost everything, no backups done, nothing.
I reinstall my website, and still got the critical error, when I read the error codes thoroughly, I found out that it was this one plugin that is in conflict with my Genesis Framework, I deleted the plugin and my website is working again.
In our walk with God, we need to be mindful of these little errors and get rid of them – a small as it is could lead to critical errors that will affect our entire system. Every file on my website is lost but my loss is also a learning experience.
2 Timothy 2:15
“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
